Robynn Ward, MSN, FNP-C, VA-BC
IV Experts Clinical Director
As an educator, she brings more than 20 years of experience in emergency and critical care nursing. She is also a Family Nurse Practitioner and a certified vascular access specialist, providing on-call ultrasound-guided peripheral IV placement. In addition to placing intravenous devices, she teaches vascular access insertion, complication recognition and management, and best practices for ongoing care and maintenance, while also training RNs in advanced IV insertion techniques.

You will be learning from an exceptional master’s-prepared IV nurse instructor with over 40 years of emergency department experience across Southern California. She is renowned for her expertise in establishing IV access in challenging cases, particularly among skilled nursing facility residents. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she remains on-call to provide critical vascular access support when others encounter difficulty. Her unwavering dedication to patient care and education is reflected in both her clinical expertise and her commitment to developing competent, confident clinicians.
